It has been one year since our beloved Caroline Kosmas passed away. She continues to be missed dearly by her family, friends and community. Her foundation has met its goal of raising $30 000 and continues to raise funds to continue on Caroline’s compassionate legacy. The first installment from her fund will be donated to the Nutana School Jacoby Centre supporting teen mothers.
The Caroline Kosmas Memorial Gala will be held to comemorate her beautiful life on Feb. 19, 2011 at the Albert Community Centre. Tickets are available after Feb. 3rd on this website or from Turning the Tide Bookstore, 525 11th St E.
Cocktails start at 5:30 followed by a buffet meal at 6:30, silent auction and dance to follow.
I miss you so much little Caroline! I can remember this day a year ago better than yesterday. In some ways it seems like you just dropped me off at the house and I’ve been waiting for you to come home. I am still heartbroken but I feel you close when volunteering, playing music or making efforts to live with your spirit. I know that you are pumped to see all the planning going into your memorial gala and your foundation! I am thankful to have had spent so much time with such a beautiful soul, beautiful spirt, beautiful wife. Love Andrew
I still feel like I am missing a piece of my heart my friend. You still feel so close to my soul that it still seems hard to think of you as being gone. Mary and I had tea together today and reminisced which I have to say was quite lovely. I love you my sweet Caroline.
